CAD-2-FAB offers powder coating services for metal parts that need durable, professional finishes. The process starts with proper surface preparation—removing old coatings, oils, and rust through media blasting or chemical cleaning. Clean metal is essential for powder adhesion, so we don't skip steps here. Parts then get a thorough inspection for any surface defects that might show through the final coating.


The powder application uses electrostatic charging to attract the powder particles evenly across the part surface. This creates consistent coverage even on complex geometries with recesses and edges. After application, parts go into our curing oven where the powder melts and cross-links into a hard, continuous coating.
